The emission of a typical ICE car in the USA as per the United States Environmental protection agency is about 4 metric tons of CO₂ per year.

Lithium mining also pollutes the air and water with chemicals and heavy metals. In addition, mining lithium can disrupt wildlife habitats and cause soil erosion, leading to long-term ecological damage.
50% of the lithium comes from the lithium triangle situated in South America.

You have to dig up 200,000 kgs of material
100 – 300 barrels of oil
